One more week and we begin daylight savings time. We also have our first trip of 2018 Sunday March 11.
Below are the trips we have limited seating on – 25 seats or less. The sold-out trips are listed on the main web page. If you see something you like and it’s FULL, I encourage you to please contact me to get on the wait list. We have cancellations all the time. Also the more people that show interest in a trip, it allows me to decide whether to add a second bus or date to the trip.
Saturday May 19 Something Rotten at Providence Performing Arts Center – 5 seats left
We are returning here for the first time in three years. As always, we purchase orchestra seats, and this show is hilarious!
Prior to the show, we will have lunch at Spirito’s on Federal Hill. We are returning here as well.
Saturday July 14 NEW TRIP! Mama Mia at the Mac Haydn Theater in Chatham, NY. – 14 seats left
This theater is located just over the state line and is a first time visit for us. We start off with a wine tasting at a winery and buffet lunch at a country club, and then it’s show time.
Donna, an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, is preparing for her daughter’s wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother’s past in hopes of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day. The music from the pop group ABBA will leave you dancing in the aisles.
Sunday Setember 16 & Monday September 17 NEW TRIP! Dutchess County, NY.
This is a LIMITED SEATING TRIP! Only 50 seats and we are already half full. We start with a winery visit. Next up we have a maple tasting, tour and maple flavored lunch at Madava Farms. Dinner overlooking the Hudson River. Monday we tour the Vanderbilt Mansion and have lunch in a historic inn. We end lunch with a haunted tour.
Sunday November 11 OLD FAVORITE! Griswold Inn & Ivoryton Theater – 17 seats left
This is a great combination! Excellent Sunday brunch at the Griswold and time to browse the shops in the town of Essex. Then it’s off to the Ivoryton for the premier of “The Queens of the Golden Mask.” This theater is a favorite of the And Away We Go and Happy Traveler guests.
It may be hard for some to plan in advance, but you certainly don’t want to miss out. Sign up for the trip, and you can always cancel if necessary before the final payment date. Any questions, please ask. Thanks for joining us on our travels.
