Our extended trip is an 8 day cruise to Newfoundland, Canada round-trip from Boston. We will also visit Halifax & Sydney, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Don’t wait to sign up for this cruise as we have a LIMITED number of cabins available.

WOW! Where did the summer go? The kids go back to school this week and it’s almost Labor Day weekend!

This post is announcing three new day trips. The one you have been waiting for is Saturday November 18

Crafts and a Show, the Deerfield Christmas Sampler Craft Fair, followed by lunch at Storrowtown Tavern and the matinee of “Moonglow” at Majestic Theater.

The other two trips are for 2024! Saturday March 16 we journey to Boston for “The Cher Show” at Boch Center with lunch at everyone’s favorite “Maggiano’s”. Finally we are doing a beet tasting in Maine followed lunch. The trip is called Bier & Lobster. Don’t wait to sign up for any of these trips – all of our trips for the remainder of this year as shown on this website are sold out.

Hello everyone!

Here we are starting off the month of June and less than three weeks to the start of Summer.

We just want to update everyone with which trips still have seats available.  If you see a trip listed on the website as “FULL” waitlist – contact us to get on the waitlist as we do get cancellations all the time.

Trips with space available include – Sunday October 15 “A drive in the Country” to the White Mountains of New Hampshire featuring Sunday Brunch at the White Mountain Hotel has 7 seats remaining on the second bus.

Both our New Hampshire Christmas trip December 10 & 11 and our trip to the Von Trapp Lodge in June of 2024 each have less than 10 seats open. 

Our longer trip to Nashville – Memphis & New Orleans has 14 seats available.

We are also taking a trip survey for 2024.  Several of our guests have asked us about going to Cape May, New Jersey, or Washington DC – both for 4 days. If you are interested in either trip, just drop a quick email to fredandawaywegotravel@gmail.com or call the office (508)421-6882. Have other ideas for a day or overnight trip – send those along as well.  We greatly appreciate you choosing to travel with us.  Enjoy the warmer and longer days as summer approaches.

This post is to announce one new trip and one repeat from 2022. Due to the high demand for last year’s trips to WATERFIRE, we are offering one for this year on Saturday September 09, 2023.

Just like last year it will include the gondola ride, dinner and time at Waterfire!! All we can say is don’t wait to sign up for this trip as it will be another sell out.

Our other trip annoucement is “The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Music”! Join us next year June 02-04, 2024 for our 3 day/2 night getway to the Von Trapp Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. 5 Meals are included with this trip, along with a history tour of the resort and beer tasting!

Welcome longer day light days of Spring and Summer!!! We are pleased to announce two more new trips.

One late summer day trip – Sunday September 17 Brunch and Boat. We will enjoy Sunday Brunch at the Inn of Middletown, CT and then we have chartered the River Quest boat in Essex, CT for a 90 minute sail along the Connecticut River.

The other addition is New Hampshire Christmas Sunday December 10 & Monday December 11. Includes 4 meals, 2 shows and a sleigh or hay ride depending on the weather. Overnight accommodations included at the White Mountain Hotel.

We do have space on two day trips – Tea & Treats on Saturday May 6 and Winnipesaukee and the Wright Museum on Saturday August 19.
