With high demand, we have added a second bus for the Sail Boston 250 Tall Ships celebration on July 13, 2026. Cruise and lunch included, it just leaves a little earlier for Boston.

2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding in 1776 – the United States of America’s Semi quincentennial. For this milestone occasion, a fleet of the world’s most magnificent international tall ships and military ships, in an epic peacetime gathering, will gather in the port of Boston as part of Sail250. Our day in Boston will include a wonderful opportunity for up-close views of this amazing gathering of Tall Ships aboard a 90-minute narrated cruise in Boston Harbor.  Lunch after the cruise is included at the Cheesecake Factory.

We also are offering a day trip via high speed ferry to Nantucket on Saturday August 02, 2026. We will have an island tour on arrival with lunch on your own or just shopping time. Seats are limited.

Planning ahead for 2027, we are offering a 9 day National Parks trip featuring the less crowded and more spectacular North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Next Year we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday! What better way to celebrate than at a Tall Ships Parade of Sail in Boston Harbor. And Away We Go Travel is taking you there! We will be on the harbor as the majestic boats sail into Boston. While on board our narrated cruise, we will have a continental breakfast, sandwich lunch break and snack time as we take it all in. The last time these boats were in Boston, and we were there was 2017. This is one of those once-in-a-life-time events! This is a limited space trip so don’t wait. Trip is Saturday July 11, 2026.

Calling all quilters!! The American Quilt Society(think Paducah, KY), is hosting a quilt show in Hartford, CT during April and we are taking you there, with plenty of time to enjoy the show. Thursday April 09.
We are offering again our “Riding The Rails & Flower Show in Connecticut on Saturday April 25, 2026 for everyone who wasn’t able to get on the trip this year. 

Also, to accommodate all who wanted to go this year but couldn’t get on the trip – we are doing the Federal Hill, Crime and Cuisine Walking Tour in Providence Friday September 04, 2026.

Lastly, how about Oktoberfest (including an oompah band)and a covered bridge tour? Monday October 05.

I am back from Scotland and hitting the ground running. We are announcing two new day trips for early 2026. First trip is a pre-spring trip to East Hill Farm for March Maple Madness and then Ben’s Sugar House, Thursday, March 12, 2026. Next up, we head to the New York Botanical Gardens for their Orchid Show on Saturday April 04, 2026. If you are interested in joining us on one or both of these trips don’t wait to sign up. Where has the summer gone? Fall begins next weekend.

We are busy working on new trips for next year. We do have one ready for reservations for next year to a new destination for us. We are going to Ocean City, Maryland, October 11-14, 2026.

We are staying on the beach and boardwalk at the newly renovated Holiday Inn with an indoor pool. We are including 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners including one with a show, a boat ride, a tour of Assateague island with guide to see the wild ponies, free time in Berlin, Maryland and more.
